The idea sparked to the founder “Dushy Rabinath” a year ago, after experiencing difficulty in buying clothes for her growing children, Aaryan and Adithee during the lockdown. Desperation and curiosity led to market research. Dushy realized that there is a considerable gap in the supply of children’s clothing here in the metropolis of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Coming from a creative background in fashion and art, she instinctively started venturing into the development, design, and manufacture of good quality, stylish clothing for the fashion-conscious new generation kids. To her great surprise, during this process she became quite fascinated by the characteristics of the “Alpha Generation”. Dushy decided to brand her line of children’s clothing and accessories as a “niche” brand, with the objective of consistently being able to fulfill the fashion needs of “Gen Alpha”. The brand ÁLFU was born!

Here’s a bit about how I came to be; My founder, who belongs to a beautiful family brought me to life after one-year of hard work. I’m here today among you because my family wants to share my love with you all!
The generation I belongs to is called “Alpha”. Hence, I am called “ÁLFU”!
Yes, you are right! That connects you and me. We belong to “Gen Alpha”.
“Screenagers”, “tech savvy”, “AI driven”, “don’t play by the rules” yes, that’s us!
